I'm getting a TT rear subframe in shape for install into my car. The previous owner installed SPL solid aluminum subframe bushings and I would like to remove them to install ES bushings instead for a bit more comfortable ride. I tried to press/push them out with a bearing cup setup and I tried pounding on them with a BFH for awhile but they would not budge. Am I missing a trick to this? Do I just need to cut them out with a recip saw?
